A. O. Smith Announces Five-Year Warranty on Oil Burner Replacement Motor for Beckett Units

A. O. Smith Electrical Products Company introduces a new replacement motor for Beckett oil burner units.

High efficiency and low maintenance features of this new oil burner replacement motor afford the benefits of a five-year warranty, one of the longest replacement motor warranties in the industry.

The permanent split capacitor (PSC) design of the motor will allow the motor to perform at a significantly higher efficiency, resulting in considerably cooler operation. A. O. Smith engineered the new replacement model as a switch-less motor to prevent unnecessary failures. The ball bearing construction of this new design will require less maintenance than conventional oil burner motors. By combining all of these notable features, A. O. Smith has developed one of the most reliable motors for the oil burner market. Referred to as stock number OBK6002, this modern switch-less, PSC oil burner replacement motor is designed to provide reliable service without sacrificing longevity.

This 1/7 horsepower motor is suited for 115 volt, 3450-rpm applications. It is a replacement for the original Beckett oil burner motor 21805U on AF/AFG burners B2001, B2002, B2003, and B2004 chassis.
