Company will display residential and commercial/industrial electric pump
motors for pool, spa, and jetted tub applications at this year’s International
Pool and Spa Expo November 5 through 7 in New Orleans, La.
A. O. Smith’s exhibit will highlight new motor designs as well
as new and improved features on existing models. The new A. O. Smith Polar
Bear spa motor, which features a patent-pending electronic “silent
switch” for single or two-speed applications, will be on display.
This innovative spa motor was designed to withstand high temperatures
to keep spa pumps running cool.
New features of the “Original and the Standard” A. O. Smith
two-compartment pool and spa motor include a redesigned drop-in wire bonding
lug, an easier-to-use voltage change plug, and a no-adjust start switch.
Attendees will want to stop by A. O. Smith’s exhibit in booth #1043
to receive a “Save While You Play” beach ball. The company
will be handing these out to promote their line of A. O. Smith Conservationist™
and Century® E-Plus® high efficiency pool and spa motors.
